Anyways, my summer holidays have been going really really well! I go out nearly everyday cos I go to work then meet Stan or friends afterwards. Ive taken loads of pictures but have not been bothered to upload them anywhere yet.. I will soon… eek! I don’t mean to brag…(maybe a little haha) but I’ve heard of other people just staying indoors…

Yesterday I spent my day with my Grace and Stanny. Though we were just going around london as usual, we still had a great time..because..well..because we love london! Despite the fact that we’re there most of the time..I feel like I have yet to discover London’s other secrets!
Today I spent the day with my friends and Stanny again to celebrate Grace’s birthday. We had a lil picnic in Hyde Park which we havn’t done in a while and went on them boat things….

On Saturday I’m going on a Mediterranean Cruise! We’re taking a plane to Majorca where we’ll board our ship for our 7 day cruise to France, Italy and Spain….again >.<
When I get back from my holiday I’m finally starting my driving lessons. I’m in no rush now seeing as I have a lot of things going on..hehe

Anyways, tomorrow is my last day in St. Georges Hosp pharmacy for my work shadowing! Then thats it..school;s out! Woo!

I just ordered pizza right now and I’m watching sex and the city right from the beginning. I’d never watched it on tv before…I watched the movie a few weeks ago and I loved it! So yea..I;m sorta having the typical girly night..with pizza and watching tv series…only I’m doing it by myself! haha!

Oh yea, I made my first video blog..which I still have to upload. Its just a lil tour of my room…but I just cba to upload anything lately…

Today I’m going to King’s College open day and maybe a bit more shopping lol! Tomorrow I have a Biology Trip so no school again for me…and on Friday its just our Academic Review day where our tutor talks to us about our progress in school and what subjects we should carry on for year 13.

Next week is our work shadowing. I’m really happy that I;ve arranged mine otherwise I would have to come in school :confused:

HMM..I don’t think I’ll be able to go to Hounslow Barrio this year, my mom told me we’re going on a cruise! I’m quite sad that I won’t be able to meet people I wanna meet :( . but you know, the same shit sorta happens every year. :cheer: 
My mother said she still needs to book her and my dad’s holidays. If this doesn’t happen I won’t be too bummed … last year we practically went on holiday every half term. sheesh
I’ve been to most of Europe and to be honest they all look the same to me. The only thing setting them apart is their landmarks and their language. I’m not saying it was a complete waste of time visiting those countries..but yea..you get kind of fed up after a while :) … I want to go to America, Egypt, Australia and Japan!

I have work tom from 4-11pm. :crazy: GAH! My parents are sorta against the fact the I;ll be coming home late…

I want to change my layout to but I just don’t any inspiration to. If I make one just for the sake of it it’ll probably end up looking really crap…which obviously I don’t want.

Yesterday I went for a lil Welcome to Byron/training thing in high street kensington. (Byron is where I’m working btw) It was held during the day so I had to miss school for it. All it was is a sort of meet everyone you’re going to be working thing. I’m really happy with our “team” as I get on with everyone and we’re mostly in the age range of 16-24. the 24 year old was my manager… I know its worrying that she’s young but shes had 8 years of experience..and she’s like super cool. :D

I found out that I also get paid cash in hand? whatever its called..every Sunday. When I first found out about it I was like…”ERRR :cool: not to happy about that cos I’ll be super tempted to shop knowing I have cash in my pockets”.. but I guess its cool as the money is just there straight away and I don’t have to wait like every month for my salary. I;ve heard that they pay weekly nowadays anyway…

I have to go back there tomorrow and do some more training but I’m not missing school anymore…hehe I can’t wait to get started already! Me and my “workmates” are all excited! lol!

also, now that I’ve got a job…I found myself working ahead of everyone so that I don’t fall behind on school work. There isn’t any pressure on me ….yet..and I hope I’ll be able to keep this habit of doing work ahead of everyone so that I don’t struggle in school.

I met up with my Stanny again today and he got me..

Sorry for not blogging these past few days…I’ve been busy with my driving and job hunting. I haven’t started my driving lessons yet as I still need to call the driving school about my 5 free driving lessons. On wednesday I went to this 2 hour meeting though which taught us about the basics of driving, getting a car, safety, etc.
Anyways, I started job hunting only 3 days ago. I know in my previous posts I mentioned that I’m not bothered anymore as I was rejected 3 times already. However, my friend had this job interview at a french restaurant as a hostess and if she gets it she’ll be paid £9 an hour!! The jobs are during the evenings though as its quite a posh place …
anyways this motivated me to start job hunting again. I didn’t know that if you worked in restaurants you could get this much money! :D So when I got home I started looking for waitressing jobs straight away and emailed so many people…
Yesterday I applied for a job in a new english restaurant opening in Kingston. I was so excited to send my email that I forgot to attach my CV!!! :cry: I didn’t even write a cover letter for any of my emails…I’ve just been sending them my CVs.. after realising my mistake I sent another email immediatley and I just felt sooo dumb!! The guy emailed me back like 10 minutes later saying

Hi paula, no attachment

AHHHHH :cry: I just felt so stupid! LOL I found it funny as well because he had the time to email me back saying that…so anyways..I sent him a 3rd email apologizing and sorry for any INCONVIENCE.yes INCONVIENCE. not INCONVENIENCE. INCONVIENCE!!!! I’m hoping he didn’t notice!!
This guy also posted the add yesterday and said he was holding interviews the day after…so I was thinking..ok I made a right fool out of myself..he definately won’t get back to me.

After school when I recieved a voicemail from him saying he wanted to interview me!! I felt so unprepared but I was like “YES ! I CAN COME!! ” He told me he was holding the interviews in Slug and Lettuce resto and I didn’t know where that was…but still I said “OH YEA I KNOW WHERE THAT IS! :blank: ” I guess I was a lil bit excited… also as I don’t wear make up to school all I had in my bag was a hair brush and lip balm. :happytear: I’d also told myself that next time I had an interview I would really make the effort to look good!! My previous interviews were all after school and I never dress up then..I would just wear my grey mahimulmul coat and hope I’d be hired. :(

He also said that if I can’t find him I should just give him a ring. On my way there my iPhone froze! arr! So I swapped sim cards with Stanny so that I could use his phone. When I we got to Slug and Lettuce I couldn;t find him anywhere! Stanny also said he’d leave me for a bit during my interview so he could find somewhere to eat…I remembered I didn;t have a phone so I couldnt phone the guy.. so I started panickingggggggg lol.
Stan found me a few minutes later and told me the guy was in Ha!Ha! resto. He gave me a 5 MINUTE interview (more like 1 hour) and hired me on the spot. I was so happy I wanted to hug him! lol! After saying “Welcome aboard!” and shaking my hand I kind of stopped listening to him as I was overly happy…no more waiting for their phone calls! :D :D when I walked out of the resto I just wanted to tell everyone out in the streets that I finally have job! ahaha! I know its shallow…but it was such a nice job..in a nice area by the river .. it pays well.. and the manager was soo nice! I thought his resto was gonna be some budget kebab shop or something because he was posting his adds on gumtree…

So I’m really glad now that I didn’t get those other jobs I’ve applied for. hMmm revive juice bar my left foot!

This is gonna my one of my most productive summer ever…gym, driving and working here I come! Tmoro I’m going out with my friends for her birthday…ahh what a great start to my weekend :)

 Also, I went to barrio last weekend and went out some day before that to celebrate the end of my exams. As usual I bought new make up again… I only got 1 lipstick from too faced in totally nude. :) i lurvesss it..it smells of champagne too!! And it has a lil fake diamond on its packaging…aww.. lol

ahh guess how much it was…£12! GAH..pricey
